Antonella founded Benarrivati in Rome in 2008 with a clear vision: travel that bridges the dream of a destination and the reality of living its culture, its rhythm and the places only locals know. Her ventures across Europe and Africa, a solid professional pedigree and a relentless curiosity for the uncharted shaped the company’s philosophy from its very first itinerary. That philosophy grew into a certified luxury DMC with dedicated teams across its global destinations, recognized by Condé Nast Traveller among its Top Travel Specialists in 2025 and 2026. Brazilian by origin, Antonella now brings it home. When is the best time to visit Brazil?
Brazil has a highlight in every season. Summer, from December to March, is the season of celebration: New Year’s Eve on Copacabana opens the year, and February brings Carnival, from the parades of Rio de Janeiro to the street festivities of Salvador and Olinda, while the vineyards of the southern highlands gather their harvest. From May to September, after the rains, the lagoons of Lençóis Maranhenses are at their fullest and Bonito’s rivers at their clearest, and June fills the Northeast with the São João festivals, Brazil’s June celebrations of bonfires, forró and country cuisine, as the Amazon hosts the Parintins Folklore Festival. From July to October, the dry season brings jaguars to the riverbanks of the Pantanal, and April to May and September to October offer the most pleasant days at Iguazu Falls. From late October to early January, Gramado lights up for Natal Luz, its celebrated Christmas season.
